mydentist – helping attract the best clinicians to one of Europe’s leading dental groups

The challenge

mydentist, part of the IDH Group, has over 650 dental practices throughout the UK and is growing rapidly though its acquisition strategy. It needs to attract a constant stream of the best dentists to achieve its business growth targets. Building the right corporate profile through an employer of choice programme is an important part of its ability to attract and retain the right people.

The how

Tungtree’s approach is to reach potential candidates through traditional and social media. We bring mydentist to life through positive media coverage on its people policies and career initiatives, as well as using its employees as the voice of the business. Tungtree also helps build engagement with candidates through LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter.

The results

We have generated 70 pieces of coverage in national and dental trade press since 2012. We have provided content for all social media channels and in less than a year have increased the number of LinkedIn followers by over 70%.

Such activity has helped build a larger profile of mydentist as a major employer in the dental sector. The programme has contributed towards improved recruitment and retention figures.
